Crisis of Infinite Episodes - DC Nation's Farm League: The Boiled Wonder

In the initial pitch for DC Nation's Farm League, the Justice League of Animals was led by a super duck. Revision to a slow moving manatee was a stroke of genius... but the Farm League's debut episode was more "neat" than great.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Journey Into Blackness

Black holes are always fun, especially those lined with Kryptonite. After Superman and Batman failed to destroy the black hole, Earth got sucked into another dimension. As if that level of incompetence wasn't enough, when confronted by a "star creature" Batman tried to stop him with duct tape. Fortunately, Samurai was also along to destroy the black hole with a single sword swipe. There was just so much wrong with this episode including the end where Superman pushed the Earth back into orbit without even a strain. This was just plain lazy.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Make-Up Monster

So, the premise to this was actually sort of intriguing. A movie makeup guy discovered a way to turn people into creatures using hormone treated costumes. Yeah, the science may be a bit off, but the potential is there. Not sure why that made him evil though. He chose to be a swamp monster, pterodactyl and King Kong, 3 great choices! It was nice for Flash to appear, but he didn't really do much. I sort of expected him to run fast at some point. This still wasn't amazing, but it was kind of fun seeing a few classic monsters battle the Super Friends.

Super History of Superman: Superman: Brainiac Attacks (2006)

Usually when a show is bad, I say just not to watch it. The problem with this particular turd in sheep's clothing is that rather than just being its own stand alone bad movie, it got all dressed up as a long awaited movie in the acclaimed Superman: The Animated Series continuity - a blatant deception.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Ice Demon

Its time for the 400th episode extravaganza. What better way to celebrate than with the Twins Wonder? How about with an appearance by ski-jacket Clark Kent and Lois Lane hoping for a scoop on an ice monster. Good thing Superman was on the case too because "form of a Woodpecker" unsurprisingly failed to best the ice monster. Aside from getting to see our favorite reporters from the Daily Planet, this really wasn't a great episode though.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Big Foot

After trudging through 34 mediocre episode of Plastic Man and 26 abominable episodes of Plastic Family and Baby Plas, Super Friends all of a sudden seems like high art. I feel like I just witnessed Michelangelo's painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. And this was some good stuff too.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Super Friends Shorts

In 1980 after two seasons of half hour adventures in Challenge of the Super Friends and The World's Greatest Super Friends, the series was ready for one of its many revamps. For the next 3 seasons and 66 episodes the series would consist of 3 adventures per half hour with an irregular rotation of heroes including previously introduced guests like Black Vulcan, the Atom, and the Wonder Twins.

Spotlight on Ultron

The cat is out of the bag. In 2015, The Avengers will face Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The malevolent mandroid was first seen in the pages of 1968's Avengers #54. The repugnant robot was initially built by Ant-Man, but became sentient and tried to enslave the world. Ultron is a worthy foe for the Avengers and has squared off against the team onscreen a few times in the past.
