Super History of Superman: Justice League of America (1967-8)

In 1968's Superman / Aquaman Hour of Adventure, episodes of Superman, Superboy, and Aquaman, were mashed together with those of a rotating slate of guest heroes including the Atom, the Flash (with Kid Flash), Green Lantern, Hawkman, the Teen Titans, and the Justice League (composed of all the adult heroes including Superman).

THE JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA, the combined might and power of the Man of Steel and the Cosmic Crusader, the Winged Avenger and the King of the Sea, the Tiny Titan and the Scarlet Streak, all working together for good against evil as THE JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA.

Superman was a pretty powerful hero, able to move planets and asteroids and he didn't mind doing so even if it ended up killing the villains. Just three of these shorts were made and while they may be historic, they were not great depictions of the heroes.

Check back next week for another chapter in The Super History of Superman.
