X-Men Damage Control = More Pics

Apparently the director of X-Men: First Class was as horrified as anyone by the release of that horrendous photoshopped cast photo two days ago. The good news is, team Fox has gone into damage control releasing a ton of movie still yesterday and today to try to prove the movie is not a steaming pile. Among the highlights are Mags in helmet, Emma Frost with a side of Bacon, and a teaser poster for the movie. There is definitely a retro tone going on here like a good old 1960's Bond film. Obviously these outfits are a bit out there, but at least they look more movie world reasonable. I will have to wait to see how it translates to the screen, but these pics do give be back a slight glimmer of hope that the first photo nearly stomped out. Now where is the trailer?

Could This be Proto Bane?

On the heels of the news that Bane will be appearing in The Dark Knight Rises, we already have our first look at some alleged concept art for the foe via the always questionable ComicBookMovie.com. I like that this does not seem inspired by either Mexican wrestling or leather fetish... and I still can't believe we are getting Bane.

Batman to Face Catwoman and Bane in The Dark Knight Rises

UPDATE July 18, 2011 - Here are some early Bane pics from the Batman sequel The Dark Knight Rises.

Check out visual onscreen histories of Bane and Catwoman now.

How do you top the Joker? According to the somewhat reputable rag LATimes.com, Batman is set to face Bane and Catwoman in Batman 3. I admit, I didn't see that coming. Well, Catwoman maybe, but Bane... He is a good character but you wouldn't know it from his last treatment in Batman and Robin.

Behold X-Men's First Class

Click it to enlarge. Thanks MSN for this low quality first look at X-Men: First Class. This image pales in comparison to the hero shots we have seen of Captain America, Green Lantern, Thor, and even next year's Spider-Man. In fact, I will say this looks terrible... Not the way I would introduce a movie to skeptical fans. But they do have the classic blue and yellow, so that has to count for something. Anyways, from left to right we have Magneto, Moira MacTaggert, Emma Frost, Azazel, Beast, Havok, Angel, Mystique and Professor Charles Xavier.
